Case #111606 (Private Residence) Page 2

Property History:
Located in the Historic District of San Marcos , this house is known in urban folklore as "The Boneyard," called so because of the death and burial of a woman identified as "Mrs. Ratcliffe," who was discovered buried beneath the present-day bathroom. The Homeowners (Husband and Wife, two children) moved into the home three years ago. Recently, one of the family dogs came indoors carrying what appeared to be a human clavicle bone.

Investigation:
Investigator arrived at 7:30pm and interviewed Husband, Wife, and two friends before being led through the house. I took readings with a Sperry EMF meter, a Fluke-62 Infra Red Thermometer, and photos with the digital camera. EMF recordings were made with the Sony Digital Voice Recorder. Roughly two hours were spent in the house. The Husband left, citing more activity when he was away.

Evidence Gathered:

  • Strange scent (not cigarette, but something else)
